Aubrey Plaza
Aubrey Plaza is an actress and comedian born June 26, 1984. She is the character April Ludgate on Parks and Recreation. After performing improv and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza launched her own web series through The Jeannie Tate Show. After her debut, Tate went on and appeared as a character in Judd Apatow Funny People and Scott Pilgrim's vs. World. It is fitting to celebrate her birth today. Aubrey Christina Plaza was born in Wilmington Delaware the daughter of attorney Bernadette Plaza and Financial expert David Plaza. Her mother is Irish, English and Irish while her father was Puerto Rican. Plaza has graduated from an Catholic All-Girls School in 2002. In 2005 from Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. As a student of the Wilmington Drama League, Plaza served as the President of the Student Government. When she was in her second year of college Plaza suffered a stroke which caused her to suffer from expressive aphasia, as well as a prolonged period of paralysis. The recovery process is now complete. Plaza performed improv shows at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, New York City since 2004. The New York location has seen Plaza done stand-up comics at The Improv as well as the Laugh Factory. Plaza was a part of E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street as Robin Gibney, The Jeannie Tate Show alongside Ben Schwartz and also the first Terrible Decisions episode. In CollegeHumor Troopers she played the satirical sci-fi character The Princess. Plaza was the first saxophonist to debut in the film Cassorla's Bona Fide in 2014. She first appeared on Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings' in the year 2012. In the year 2016 Plaza appeared in HarmonQuest in the role of Hawaiian Coffee a gnome. She was Aaron Burr, in Drunk History. And Cat Adams on Season 11 of the C.B.S. Criminal Minds. She made a stunning return to the role in Season 12. In the following year she was announced Plaza would be appearing in the comedy series An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
